Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Dashgrid, a web-based dashboard and data visualization platform operated by Xaido GmbH & Co. KG, Cologne, Germany (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using Dashgrid, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dashgrid. If you are under 16, you must have parental or guardian consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Dashgrid for personal and commercial purposes. This is a software-as-a-service license—you do not acquire ownership of any software or intellectual property. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of Dashgrid
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Sublicense, resell, or redistribute access to Dashgrid
• Use automated systems to scrape or extract data from the platform

3. User Content & Data

Ownership: You retain ownership of all data, files, and content you upload or create on Dashgrid (“User Content”).

License to Us: By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service to you.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any laws, third-party rights, or these Terms. You must have the necessary rights to any data you upload or connect via third-party integrations.

4. Public Sharing

Dashgrid allows you to share dashboards publicly via links. When you share content publicly, you are responsible for ensuring the content is appropriate for public viewing and does not contain confidential, sensitive, or illegal material. We are not liable for any consequences arising from your decision to share content publicly.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Dashgrid may connect to third-party APIs and data sources. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Dashgrid to:

• Upload or transmit illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Distribute malware, spam, or phishing attempts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or other users
• Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the system
• Use the service to violate any applicable law or regulation

7. Service Tiers & Payments

Dashgrid offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. Refunds are provided only where required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

Dashgrid, including its design, features, code, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Xaido GmbH & Co. KG. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Dashgrid is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of Dashgrid. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use Dashgrid ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cologne, Germany.
