What is Dashgrid

Dashgrid is a multi-purpose platform to create, run, and share dashboards. Dashgrid dashboards are

  • Multi-purpose: Designed for diverse use cases across industries, teams, and topics.
  • Actionable: all metrics and indicators are clearly defined and presented, and don't require users to dig through complex, deep data to get to the relevant signals, and insights.
  • Reactive: Dashgrid is engineered for responsiveness, fast usage, and great user-experience.
  • Beautiful, interactive, accessible data widgets are at the heart of Dashgrid.

Dashgrid is for

  • Developers, data scientists, technical teams, data providers who need to track, share, or expose metrics, indicators, insights to stakeholders – to dashboard users.
  • Teams, stakeholders, clients, public who need to track and consume actionable indicators and insights efficiently, without technical knowledge.

How Dashgrid works for creators

  • A Dashboard is a configurable space to present Widgets to users.
  • Widgets are configurable, interactive visualizations (f.e. line chart) to present data.
  • Widgets connect to Data Buckets to receive data.
  • Actions allow automation on data — coming soon.
  • You can write, delete, and update data in the data buckets via API
    • The data appears instantly on the widgets, delivered to you and your dashboard users.
    • Automated actions are executed triggering f.e. sending emails, calling APIs or webhooks, and more.

APIs first

By design Dashgrid does not require any access or integration into your systems. It does not read your databases, or your emails, or access your servers at all. This approach reduces security risks, avoids building and managing another data warehouse. You submit only the relevant metrics through a simple, secure API.

Data retention is fully configurable – store your data for as long as you need. Only what is relevant stays in Dashgrid, and only for as long as it matters to you.
